Hello, this is Sarper, who is 70% water!
I'm currently a product design lead leading several teams of designers across the teams of Architect area products (Architect & Sirius AI) at Insider, a SaaS tech scale-up, since 2021. Previously, I worked as an interaction designer on the METU Design System and provided product design consultancy to technology firms in various industries and verticals through Studio Sarper Seydioglu.
With 12+ years of in-house, independent consultancy, and agency experience in the field of design, I specialise in designing B2B SaaS products, design systems, health and wellbeing products, video games, and other digital and physical products. I've undertaken design lead, product designer, interaction designer, art director, UX researcher, scrum master, and visual designer roles previously.
I'm pursuing a PhD in Industrial Design at METU, focusing on interaction and user experience design. My academic background includes an MSc in Industrial Design, a BA in Business Administration, and a Secondary Field in Communications. I founded an association, a university student government body, several student clubs, and a radio station studio during my studies.
To date, I’ve received 16+ honours and awards across competitions, exhibitions, conferences, and academic distinctions.
